CMOSER has not only been written by CTS and used by CTS, but has been used to maintain customer CMOS settings for easy restore. In some cases CMOSER has been used to set the CMOS settings in the total absence of a battery. When the DOS version is coppied onto a boot disk, CMOSER can easily be configured to restore CMOS settings using the autoexec.bat file
